South Yarmouth is the Mid-Cape area of Cape Cod. Sometimes called Bass River. We are approximately 2 miles to the Bass River Bridge. The nearest beaches to our Cabins are Parker River Beach (1.0 mile), Bass River Beach, Smuggler's Beach, and Seagull Beach. All of them are on the Nantucket Sound. The closest Bay Beaches are approximately 15 minutes drive to Chapin, Mayflower, and Cooperation Beaches. There are great areas to bike ride and roller blade., There are plenty of playgrounds with basketball and tennis courts. Be sure to take a kayaking trip on Bass River during low tide or sunset on Grand Cove/Bass River. Truly magnificent. Directions to Yarmouth Country Cabins: Find your way to the Sagamore Bridge at the end of on Rte 3. Cross over the Sagamore Bridge and Rte 6 begins. Follow Rte. 6 to exit 7. At the bottom of the off ramp, turnLEFT. At your first set of lights, turn LEFT. Follow Higgins-Crowell Road to the second set of lights and turn LEFT onto Rte 28. The Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce is on your right if you want to stop and get brochures to plan your week. Follow Rte 28 for 1.8 mile and look for the Rock on your LEFT. The cabins address is 878 Rte 28 South Yarmouth, Mass 02664. The street address for the 4 bedroom house and townhouse is #864 Rte 28, South Yarmouth. Look for the big rock! |
