Unplug and Reconnect: Experience the Simple Joys of Family Time

Dear Friends,

In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life. Our screens dominate our attention, and quality time with loved ones can take a backseat. But what if you could press pause and rediscover the beauty of simple, uncomplicated moments with your family?

This month, the Yarmouth Country Cabins team has been reflecting on nostalgia. We truly believe that YCC is a unique place that stirs those inner feelings of nostalgia. Let us explain: The Cape used to be full of family-owned cottage communities like ours, but as time passes, there are fewer and fewer. Modern-day kids are missing out on the experiences that made your childhood feel expansive. This is what makes us so unique: the family-run care. We are your haven for wholesome, low-tech family getaways and reconnection. Our cabin community is designed to foster meaningful connections. We have a playground for kids to burn off energy and make new friends, a swimming pool for refreshing fun, and fire pits for evening gatherings and stargazing. We offer Wi-Fi in the cabins, indoor and outdoor showers, TVs, and all the modern conveniences you'd expect, but we also provide ample picnic tables, hammocks, and outdoor spaces to encourage quality family time and authentic conversation. (And we’re happy to remove the TV from your cabin prior to your arrival, if you'd like!)

Remember summer vacations spent playing outdoors, free from the glow of screens? A stay at our cabins with your whole family offers a chance to relive those carefree days. We are here to offer a safe, quiet haven to rediscover the joys of simple, unplugged living and make memories that will last a lifetime.

But don't worry, if you want to seek out some Cape Cod adventures offsite, Yarmouth has plenty to offer: Yarmouth has a treasure trove of activities and attractions that will delight both kids and adults. Enjoy a late breakfast at Ann and Fran’s, where you will find all your classic breakfast and lunch favorites with a creative and unexpected twist (4.5 stars and mid to low prices on both Yelp and Trip Advisor). Then explore the Cape Cod Rail Trail, a 22-mile bike path winding through picturesque towns and scenic landscapes. Or take the kids to the Whydah Pirate Museum or the Cape Cod Children's Museum for interactive learning and adventure.

Leave your devices behind and find yourself surrounded by nature's beauty, warm hospitality, and the people who matter most. We are open for a couple more weeks this fall, and are currently accepting pre-bookings for next Spring. See you soon!

Warmly, Audrey

and Your Yarmouth Country Cabins Team
